The visual power of connection
Ann Deman (Menen °1969) is best known for her artwork 'Mother Earth I.' With this exhibition, we want to show visitors her versatility and context as an artist. You will get a selection of her works that amaze and stimulate our childish imagination.

From August 14, 2022, to Sunday, October 2, 2022, there will be an exhibition by Ann in Museum Gevaert Minne in Sint-Martens-Latem. This exhibition can be seen as a festive event after the purchase by the municipality of the monumental work of Ann Mother Earth I.
Ann will present a selection of her oeuvres, such as her bronzes connected with the earth and the installation 'Journey' that will leave no one untouched. During this exhibition, Ann also shows work never been shown before.

The municipality of Sint-Martens-Latem and artist Ann Deman signed the deed this afternoon that gives the statue 'Mother Earth I' a final destination in the orchard of the town hall. So the municipality is the new owner.

The Boutique Gallery will work with the artist Ann Deman on the further development of her career, focusing on the promotion of her existing oeuvre and the expansion thereof.

Triple celebration for Kortrijk artist Ann Deman on Sunday afternoon. She celebrated both Mother's Day and her 50th birthday and toast the news that the city of Kortrijk is buying her five-year bronze sculpture, Mother Earth II. The naked woman, half sunk into the ground, lies in the Albert Park at the height of the Groeningebrug.
